To download the free version, simply click the link and choose "Save" and select a location for the installation file on your hard drive.  Once it has downloaded, double click the "exe" file to begin installation. 

 You may download the free version, install it, and return to this page to purchase the registered version at a later time.  Once you have purchased it, run Global Mapper and go to Help>Register Global Mapper to enter your User Name and Password (case sensitive).
